by Susie Ellis, SpaFinder Insider

First things first. I just returned from attending the very creative TED Active conference in Palm Springs, CA. To say it was inspiring would be an understatement...Rather, for me (and I think many others who attended) TED was a game-changer.

While I will explain what I mean by that in a future blog and do my usual "update" sharing what I learned, I wanted to start out giving you a link to the one talk (out of about 50) that I think is the most important one for the spa and wellness industry to hear...

It is by Jamie Oliver, a famous chef from the UK who is on a crusade to start a healthy food movement in schools...He was the $100,000 TED prize winner this year and here is his
18-minute talk (actually he went slightly over the strict TED rules that gives everyone - and that includes Bill Gates and James Cameron - exactly 18 minutes to speak) Titled: Teach Every Child About Food.
